​We are always looking for new people who want to be part of Camp Tipton's Ministry. Working at camp can be a truly life changing experience. Camp Tipton employees are offered valuable experience like no other summer job. We provide food and lodging while working here!
Still in high school? No problem! There are still opportunities for you to serve. Camp employees who are 16 or older are paid a weekly stipend for their service,
15 years of age are permitted to work to gain volunteer experience.
Summer Camp Counselor Positions
Day Camp Counselor (16+)
A Day Camp Counselor is a fun loving, Godly leader who will work with a group of 15 campers per week. They are responsible for the overall well being; physically, emotionally and spiritually, of each camper. In addition, they will teach or assist in a few specific skill areas. Counselors are to be a role model in attitude, speech, and actions consistent with a daily walk with Christ. Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must be able to uphold Camp Tipton's statement of faith and code of conduct.
(Summer Salary: $1,350/Summer) (Commitment Dates May 24th - June 27th)

Adventure Camp Counselor (18+)
Adventure Camp Counselor is a fun loving, Godly leader who will work with a group of 20 campers per week. They are responsible for the overall well being; physically, emotionally and spiritually, of each camper. In addition, they will teach or assist in a few specific skill areas. Must be 18 years of age and finished 12th grade. The Adventure Camp Counselor is the most vital role in camp! You will be going off-site and assisting in adventure activities such as rock climbing, kayaking, biking, hiking and so much more!
(Summer Salary: $1,350/Summer) (Commitment Dates May 24th - June 27th)

Resident Camp Counselor (16+)
A Resident Camp Counselor is a fun loving, Godly leader who will work with a group of 6 campers per week. They are responsible for the overall well being; physically, emotionally and spiritually, of each camper. In addition, they will teach or assist in a few specific skill areas. Counselors are to be a role model in attitude, speech, and actions consistent with a daily walk with Christ. Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must be able to uphold Camp Tipton's statement of faith and code of conduct.
(Summer Salary: $700/Summer) (Commitment Dates July 5th - July 23rd)
Camp Tipton Leadership Positions
Head Counselor (18+)
This role is performed by someone with previous counselor experience. They have the responsibility of leading and representing the Counselors to the Program Staff. Your goal would be to ensure the Counseling Staff has the information, tools and support necessary to carry out their duties as a counselor. We are looking for someone who will be a role model amongst their peers, and have the ability to pour their lives into the Counseling Staff. Previous Counselor experience is required for this position.
(Summer Salary: $2,000/Summer)(Commitment Dates May 24th - July 23rd)
Camp Tipton Programs Internship
The Camp Tipton Intern will gain hands-on experience in ministry, program development and event planning while serving alongside the Camp Tipton team. This role will assist with creating and leading programs, supporting camp events, and helping develop meaningful experiences that connect the community to Camp Tipton’s mission.
